PTA
The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is an amazing group of parents and school staff who meet throughout the year with the purpose of fundraising money to support the schooling experiences of our children.
Fundraising is a key component of our school and helps to provide all the extras that Government funding doesn’t allow us to provide. In recent years this has included:
– School trips and camps
– School trips and camps
– Dance and art tutors
– Sports equipment
– Classroom games
– Pizza lunches for classes
– Uniforms for our kapa haka and poly groups
– Bouncy castles and popcorn machines for the school to use
We also enjoy holding fun events like school food fairs and discos for teh children.
PTA Meetings usually start at 5pm and are usually about an hour long on the first Tuesday of each month. If you are interested in helping out please come along to a meeting, contact pta@stpatsmstn.school.nz or leave your name at the school office and we will get in touch with you.
